After a big BBQ lunch, we had planned to eat light Friday night and have another strawberry salad for supper. But since we had a couple of left over steaks in the frig we needed use, we had them instead – but still a salad. I seasoned the steaks with Tiger Seasoning and S&P and grilled them on the gasser - then rested and sliced about a quarter inch thick. Bev’s sis had 1000 island on hers and Bev and I used some balsamic vinaigrette we had on hand and then I added some crumbled bleu cheese to my lettuce and then on the meat.
Simple, easy, and delicious. Thanks for stopping by.

I love grilled steak salads! My favorite is a Thai grilled steak salad from the Barbeque Bible.
ReplyDeleteLooks so good. My grill has been temporarily closed until Saturday. It seems we have some snow.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE steak with bleu cheese and this looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteLooks good - like it is right out of a steak house!
ReplyDeleteI have a jar of Tiger seasoning sitting in my spice cabinet that I need to try.
ReplyDeleteIt does look good. Of course, my guys would want a lot more than the portion you show. Then again, they're young and not of an age where they might need to count calories. *sigh* Those were the days, right?
ReplyDeleteAmazing what good meals we can all make from left-overs.... Your salads sound wonderful, Larry. I love salads this time of year.
