Our
friends, David and Peggy, have a second home in Palm Coast, FL and we were
finally able to coordinate our schedules for a visit last week. Their home is in Sea
Colony, which is a gated community of individual homes on the beach along
US-A1A on the strip of land between the Intercostal Waterway and the ocean.
I
failed to get a shot of the entrance, but this is their home and the sunroom
where we spent most of our at home time.
The
community is complete with small lakes for fishing, a nice clubhouse and pool,
and walkway to the beach - the first shot is from Google earth.
We
went for a walk on the beach at low tide – that’s Bev and Peggy way out ahead
of me in the 4th shot.
See the bird above them, it flew by me as well.
Photos
best if enlarged by clicking on them.
Have
a great day and thanks for stopping by Almost Heaven South.

Very nice place they have... the whole area is gorgeous actually. Thanks for sharing the photos with us!
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying your trip!! ...maybe it might be a little warmer down there than East Tennessee.
ReplyDeleteLarry, It sure looks pretty and I really liked the Google view! All those little lakes to fish in...I like that concept for sure. Hope you had a good time... Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to escape to. Love the beach and the photos and hope you're having a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty place and how nice to be able to walk on the beach. Bet it's warmer there than here :)

Eh, let them wander on ahead. Amble at your own happy pace, and enjoy the scenery. Hope you're having (or had) a blast!
ReplyDeleteA1A was our most cherished road on which to ride our bicycles. The winds kind of stink but it's hard to beat that view.
ReplyDeleteLarry your pictures are just great! I miss Florida - and want to go back soon. How nice you had a good visit in such a wonderful place. Can't beat great friends indeed!
ReplyDeleteSounds heavenly! We love anywhere on a beach!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Love that sunroom. From the photo, I think that bird is a pelican?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to visit! The beach looks beautiful.
