In my first
post about our trip, I mentioned the boat parade that passes right past the
condo and I’ve previously posted motor yachts
and here are the sailboats. I arranged
them by length beginning with the shorter ones.
Once again if you click on the photo to enlarge and see the people, the size is more obvious - especially do the last one. You can aslo click on the first one then cycle thru them all using the thumbnails at the bottom of the photo.

Catamarins were very popular on the island.
There were hundreds of sailboats in the lagoon and many were used as homes - there were all shapes and sizes.
Have a great
day and thanks for stopping by Almost Heaven South.

Actually I am partial to the Catmaran.. its my favorite sailing boat. Had a ball on it in Hawaii.. you just brought back so many memories gorgeous photos
ReplyDeleteLove the boat parade Larry. Maybe you need a sailboat on your lake now (smile).

You certainly did have a continuing boat parade outside your window. I can see why they would make a beautiful home for some of the owners.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Larry. We have a Christmas boat parade in December her in Portland... the boats are all decked out in Christmas lights. It's great!
ReplyDeleteLarry, While these boats/yachts are beautiful and I wouldn't mind a ride on one of them, I'd prefer those 120' plus motor yachts with a crew! I can dream, can't I!? Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the sum total cost of all those boats is.
