We met some friends, Vicki and Wayne, for lunch this day at the Lemon Grass Thai Restaurant in Maryville to celebrate the sale of our apartments as she is also the realtor who sold them. The restaurant is not particularly fancy from the outside but the inside is very nice as we got to see by being the first of the lunch customers.
Vicki and Wayne are familiar with the restaurant and started us off with a lobster roll appetizer to go with a nice bottle of off-dry Reisling wine.
It was delicious.
Wayne had the Walnut Shrimp.
Bev and Vickie had the Chicken Yellow Curry
And I ordered a first as a meal – Sushi and Sashimi Special. It contained two kinds of salmon, tuna and a California Roll.
It was very good and very healthy.
The food and fellowship were both very good which made for a fine lunch.
Cindy Chicken
That evening for supper, Cindy made a delicious Baked Stuffed Chicken using a Pioneer Woman recipe for the chicken and Stove Top for the stuffing. She pulled it from the oven at 160F and it was moist and tender.
Photos can be slightly enlarged by clicking on them and the blue words are links.
Have a great day
and thanks for stopping by Almost Heaven South.
