I
know, it doesn’t take much to excite an old man, but I’ve been admiring trip
maps on other blogs and wishing I knew how to do it. Well, thanks to some help from Erin over at
Two to Travels Phaeton Journeys,
I was able to create a map of our recent western trip in Google Maps and actually
have it end up on my blog – major achievement for this techno-challenged guy.
I went back and added it to my trip wrap-up post.

Neat.... You all did have a wonderful trip!!! Hope you have many more. We have a tracking device --so we can get a similar map when we travel. Quite interesting to see!!!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas.
Hugs,
Betsy
That is just neat. Glad you figured it out. I tried once upon a time and finally gave up.
ReplyDeleteI was looking at your map as a Rorschach test. I saw rib-eye steak.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea! and I assume next years trip will add even more miles. ;)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and your family, Larry! and may the New Year be healthy and bring you and Bev much joy.
Seeing your map makes me think you likely drove as many miles on that trip as we did in our 2013 year full timing.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Larry, Impressive! You are the man! Techno Freak! Way ahead of me... HO! HO! HO! Merry Christmas... Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
ReplyDeleteLove it. Did you use Google Maps
ReplyDeleteI still haven't figured out how to add the map. Good job. Have a wonderful Christmas.....what's for dinner :-)
