I didn’t believe it until I tried it.
Below is an email that's going around
and maybe it's been circulating for years, but I received it for the first time
yesterday, as usual. It makes a claim
that seems dubious at first and you may have already seen it, but if not,
please take two seconds to give it a try.
It worked for both Bev and I and you don't have to be sitting at your desk.
"This is so funny that it will boggle
your mind. And you will keep trying it at least 50 more times to see if you can
outsmart your foot. But you can't!!!
1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right
foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number
"6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change
direction!!!
I told you so... And there is nothing you can
do about it."
Header - Coco was originally Madison’s dog and she still
is drawn to her. Here she is helping
Madison take a nap and her head was down on Madison’s until we decided to take
the shot.
Have a great day and thanks for
stopping by Almost Heaven South.
Larry
HAHA!!! You are right.. there is NOTHING you can do about it.. I was evening doing everything in my power to concentrate and keeping that foot going the right way.... when i did that, the 6 was all backwards!!! lol Great little post, Larry!!
ReplyDeleteDarn foot, it wouldn't keep going in the right direction. Too funny.
ReplyDeleteyes, I have tried to make it keep the same direction but the darn food just won't cooperate - or is it the mind - either way, this baffles me...
ReplyDeleteLarry, Yup...I've tried this exercise before. It's weird but true! Cute photo of Madison and Coco too! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
ReplyDeleteOur brain sure has opinions...I tried my left foot and my left hand too....opinionated is all I can say.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many more times I will do this today - so funny. Love the new header photo!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize my hand had so much influence over my foot.
ReplyDeleteHA---had never seen that before. AND--it does work. Neat!!!!! But--as George said, we didn't realize that our hands had so much influence on my feet.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
LOL I had forgotten about this, but I remember it now & it's true!!
ReplyDeleteWow... It's amazing how the brain works.
ReplyDeleteCute header picture!
I haven't seen that one in a while but it's crazy how your brain controls involuntary actions.
ReplyDeleteCut picture of Madison and Coco!
Ha! Ha!! This is just another thing to drive me crazy. Cute pic up above!
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing! I think I have a dumb right foot - LOL.
ReplyDeleteHow funny is this! No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get my foot to change direction.
ReplyDeleteThat is messed up. Sounds like something a cop would use to MAKE SURE you don't pass a field sobriety test, lol.
ReplyDeleteToo funny!
