After dinner on evening on our Marco Island vacation, we sat on the balcony, sipped an adult beverage, and watched the sunset.
These are some shots as the sun progressed lower in the sky.
And this is the next morning.
And finally, late morning and afternoon.
All photos can be enlarged by clicking on them - especially the last one.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by Almost Heaven South.

We've spent a lot of time in Marco when Meakin's mom lived there. You've brought back lovely memories of the sky there Larry.

I remember sitting on the beach at the Mucky Duck Restaurant on Sanibel. Jaw-dropping sunsets. You've captured some beautiful shots Larry.
ReplyDeleteRed Sky at night sailors delight right? Lovely scene just lovely!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! Reminds me of when we were in Hawaii and we'd spend every evening either on the beach or on the balcony watching the sun set. It's amazing the things we take for granted in our everyday lives .. very few of us stop to appreciate a good sunset :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!! I love the shot of the parasailer in the last one. What fun! Enjoy your vacation, with views like that it'd be hard not to :)
ReplyDeleteLarry, Great photos! We think that you may have mastered that new camera of yours... Big Daddy Dave & Laurie
ReplyDeleteOh Larry - what a beautiful series of sunset photos! I want to go to Marco Island now.
ReplyDeleteThis is the nicest time of the year in Florida, from my perspective. Nice shots of the sky.
ReplyDeleteWhat a way to watch a beautiful sunset! Perfect to me.
ReplyDeleteWhen we go to Perdido Key, I enjoy sitting on the balcony when everyone else is down on the beach. I like just the peaceful quiet of the ocean sounds.
