Nothing to eat yet from the garden, except asparagus, but lettuces, green onions, and radishes will be along pretty soon. My tomatoes have been hardened off and are out of the greenhouse - just waiting for mid April. Only have a few more shrubs to prune and I'll be glad - I'm planning to keep them in better shape so I don't have to perform the major surgery I've been doing - what's that old a stitch in time thingy?
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
Larry
Are these taken with the new camera? It's still winter here. A couple of crocus have peeked through the snow.
ReplyDeleteDon't you love it when the color starts coming back. Course you actually have seasons up that way LOL! I just saw you made the Braun Bon Potatoes the other day!! Hope ya liked them as much as we did & thanks so much for the linky love. :)
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so lovely!! I love spring time... even in the desert the cactus flowers are blooming and the colors are incredible! Thanks for the photo tour :)
ReplyDeleteNothing like a new camera and a blog to make you start looking for nice light and color . . . your photos are terrific. Good luck on that proactive pruning ;)
ReplyDeleteDear Larry - all of your garden you've shown here looks wonderful. Isn't it exciting for us veggie gardeners to watch seedlings develop into veggie plants.
ReplyDeleteIt may be Fall here, but it all stays so green. Wellington is too "maritime" for snow over winter. Now, I must get my broad bean seeds planted this month for Springtime bean feasts in October/November.
Down in the City Council's Botanic Gardens I noticed that the gardeners were preparing the tulip beds. Even as I head into winter there are already hints of springtime - not due here until Spetember.
Life would be darn boring if it was always Summer!!!
Larry, It's really hard to beat Spring in East Tennessee! Just beautiful with the lakes, streams and mountains as the backdrop... Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful yard! The garden is huge too... lucky.
ReplyDeleteLarry you dog!! We still have snow piles left up here. I love the pics especially the reduds in the background. My favorite spring tree.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour of your gorgeous place Larry...the tulips and flowering trees are beautiful!
