In case you missed it monday, thought I'd post this again today.
Last month we made an initial posting just to get on your calendars and now it's time to provide more details and see who plans to come.

Time: Noon – til everyone leaves, eat around 1:30
Who: Any fellow bloggers who are willing to make the trip and significant other, or not
Where: Larry’s place on Tellico Lake about 35 miles southwest of Knoxville, Tn
Food: We will be serving crawfish/shrimp boil or Cajun pork BBQ Po Boys for the non- seafood fans
Donation: We’ll be asking for a small donation ($10 or so) to help with the food cost, but we won’t know what it will be for sure until we know the attendance
RSVP: We need to know if you will be coming by May 6, 2012 so we can order the fresh seafood

It's times like this that I wish our country wasn't so stinkin' HUGE! If TN wasn't so far from CO I'd be there. Sounds like a great party, enjoy it Larry!
ReplyDeleteHey, Larry...I was born in Knoxville, and grew up there and in Jefferson County, TN. Unfortunately, I had to move to Texas in 2010, when my husband was ill. Thanks for the invitation, Larry... I'll let you know in due time what our plans are... As I said, I have a granddaughter graduating in TX that next weekend... SO--it depends upon when we leave--and what is going on.

ReplyDeleteI wish I knew you all when I was in TN. I lived really close to Tellico Lake! Drat. Would love to be there but it is a 4 day drive from Canada! Have one for me.
