I love, love, love San Marzano tomatoes. Too bad about the sausage though.

Crack me up about driving past the oregano LOL. My itty bitty herb garden is about 4 steps from the back door!

The Buitoni at my store is by the deli section, with the fancy imported cheeses and olives. Guess the markets don't quite know what to do with fresh pastas!Mary | Deep South Dishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06030573009618096220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-511932079074193335.post-81788769098200070862010-05-22T21:56:12.054-04:002010-05-22T21:56:12.054-04:00I smiled when you said you drove past the oregano ...I smiled when you said you drove past the oregano on the mower . . . sounds just like what I do! I also love that you canned your own tomatoes. Immersion blenders are the bomb, aren't they? Lastly, I love making food that is as good or better than restaurants, but at a fraction of the cost. Cooking good food is so rewarding!Vickiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11986908754687987997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-511932079074193335.post-62295379112584845542010-05-22T16:34:06.284-04:002010-05-22T16:34:06.284-04:00We like tortellini so well that I serve it with ju...We like tortellini so well that I serve it with just some butter and a hint of garlic as a side dish. My favorite by far is Kielbasa. I also like Smoked Sausage. I like Brats also--but that is getting into the hotdog foods rather than sausage... ha ha

You meal looks good to me. Since you all do so well cooking at home (were you a chef in your previous life?), I'll bet it's hard to please you when you eat out...

We love to eat --but are never too picky about it all.

Have a wonderful weekend, Larry.
BetsyBetsy Banks Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16223591156634767330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-511932079074193335.post-45735046278499376332010-05-22T09:12:15.186-04:002010-05-22T09:12:15.186-04:00I'm so picky about my Italian Sausage. My husband grew up with Canino family, so makes it even more fun. I like the Buitoni products, just haven't bought any for awhile. Nice looking strawberry pie, by the way. :-)Lea Annhttp://www.highlandsranchfoodie.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
