Look Mom - No Eggs & Blogspot Help

This is a breakfast from leftovers that Bev fixed me over the holidays - see I don't have an egg on everything.

Blogspot Question - When I want to post a photo, I click the little icon next to the "Link" word and it brings up a "Select A File" box which, until the other day, always included the word Browse on the upper right which allowed me to go to my computer picture files and select a photo. The browse word is no longer there and I don't know why - any suggestions?

I'm now responding to your comments and hoping you will stop back by - photos best if enlarged by clicking on them.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by Almost Heaven South.

  1. The best part of left-overs is having them for breakfast. I can't imagine that you didn't have an egg :)

On the Browse question, when I add a picture, I click "choose a file" and it opens up My Pictures and I click around until I find the file I want. I don't recall whether I saw the word browse or not...

    1. Sam - I don't seem to have the words "choose a file" anywhere. Where are they for you?

    2. When I click the "add a photo icon" on a post, "choose a file" shows up on the top on the left. When I click choose a file, it takes me to My Pictures, where I then choose a photo from the files. Hope that helps.

Blogger has different layouts. I may be on a different one than yours. If we were neighbors, I could come over and help and maybe have a margarita...

  4. Really? No egg?

Blogger: Mine says "choose files," then it opens to my computer--- pictures, desktops, documents, etc. No "browse" that I can remember. But then, sometimes I can't remember what I ate for breakfast!

  5. Larry, What!!?? Breakfast without an egg!! This kind of happening raises my concerns about the end of days... I'll have to create 2 or 3 more breakfast blogs on my site to offset or counterbalance your change in the earth's orbit! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

  6. Hi Larry, I was so shocked this morning, I thought I was going to faint!!!!! What--no egg????? Holy Cow---bet you didn't care for that breakfast nearly as much!!!!! ha ha

I haven't had the problem with loading pictures YET---but I've noticed that several of my blog friends are having the same problem that you are having... I'm not sure what is going on. I just hope that Blogger isn't trying to make changes for us AGAIN...

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  7. I am shocked there are no eggs - I almost didn't recognize your blog post in my reader!

On blogger - You get different views when you post in "HTML" or in the "Compose" . I prefer the "Compose" - my option is "Choose File"

    1. Steph - I don't find the "choose files" anywhere, but I use the Compose

  8. No egg?? Who took Larry - quick, gather up the posse y'all!! In Blogger, to me at least, it's easier to add photos in the "Compose" mode. You can use either - just toggle over between the two buttons compose and html.

    1. LOL Mary - I've never used anything but the compose mode and my toolbar looks the same but something is different

  9. No eggs! :-) Delicious meal, though.
When I add a picture, I click the icon of the picture to the right of the word "link". When the window opens, I click Choose file and all of my picture files open....

I know how frustrated you must be...I hate it when a glitch happens....good luck!

Maybe they are working on something today and it will be fixed tomorrow!

  10. Are you feeling okay? No egg?

Fortunately I haven't had problems uploading files -- yet. I've got my fingers crossed, however.

  11. Now that is a King's breakfast for sure :) Although I have a feeling there is a king that might have wished there was at least one egg on that plate!! lol

Not sure about the issue with blogger... mine shows up like Pam's does.. with a choose file selection. Can you take a screen capture and email it to me, I might be able to help if I could actually 'see' what's going on.

  13. No eggs - I guess you got enough grief from everybody else. I'll check my posts when I get home but don't remember if it says Choose a file or browse - same thing anyway I think :)

  14. You are hiding the eggs (laugh).

Next time I post I will have to check that out. I did notice that for my previous post.

  15. I'm not sure why the "browse" option changed for you. I can take a look when I come by for the wood chips. You are still using the original version of blogger and didn't switch to the new version two years ago, correct? I think that is why most people have the "choose file" option instead, they are on the "new" blogger version.
